Dave is a locally well-known financial educator, host of NBC 25’s ‘Money Matters’ and author of “High Tide: A Practical Guide for Affluent Retirees to Protect, Profit and Prosper from the Coming Financial Storm.” Dave’s goal on ‘Money Matters’ is to discuss pertinent, current, and helpful financial information. For 32 years, Dave has been teaching investors how to  preserve their assets, increase their income, and reduce income taxes.

Dave also serves as a Chartered Financial Consultant, a designation awarded only to experienced advisors who have completed a 10-course study  program, through the American College in Pennsylvania, focusing on Tax, Investment, Risk Management, Retirement and Estate Planning. In addition, he is an approved member of the International Association of Registered Financial Planners, and the Society of Financial Service  Professionals.

Dave is also a contributing author of ‘21st Century Wealth’, an easy to read book for those already retired or those planning for a financially rewarding retirement. His insight and opinions are sought after by various media sources including The Wall Street Journal, “Smart Money Magazine”, Detroit Business Hour,  TV 25, TV 12, and various radio stations. Dave was also recently featured in ‘Senior Market Advisor’ magazine for his outstanding  service to the community.

For three years in a row, Dave has been named a 5 Star Wealth Manager, an award only given to the top 7% of advisors in each state. The 5 Star Wealth Manager status is only advisors who have a 95% or higher client satisfaction rating.

His Firm, Retirement Resources, LLC, has been recognized annually as one of the top Advisory firms in the country and has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Recently Dave was featured on a new T.V. series created to educate Retirees on key issues named “The Consumer Advocate” which is out to air on many of the major networks in 2013. The information he shared will also appear in a new book co-authored with Best -Selling Author Brian Tracy entitled “The Ultimate Success Guide,” which is also due out in early 2013.

Dave and his wife, Cherie, are the proud parents of 2 sons and 6 grandchildren. They are active members of a church, where he has served on the Deacon’s board for over 15 years. In his free time, Dave enjoys playing basketball, going up north, reading, meeting new people, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
